My name is Ja’nice. I was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana so I am a good ole “Cajun Girl.” My entire family is Cajun and most still reside in Louisiana. I grew up in a Blended Family of two parents (Mom and Step-Dad) and eight children between the two of them.

Now as an adult, I am part of and raising a Blended family as my husband and I have four children between us and have adopted three girls together. Upon retiring from the Corporate World, I wanted to start a Home Business in an effort to teach our adopted girls about business and the responsibility of running of a business.

Over the years, I have done extensive and comprehensive studying of Home Remedies and Natural/Vegan options in an effort to reduce and eliminate the dangerous chemicals and ingredients we put into and on our bodies. It also helps having a daughter that is Vegan. I started and currently maintain a very productive vegetable and herb garden. Additionally, several in my family have various skin issues such as chronic hives, Itchy Skin, Rashes, Eczema and Psoriasis.

With much thought, study, creativity and a lot of hard work, CaJan Blends was born. CaJan because I am Cajun and my name is Jan. Blends because we are a successful blended family consisting of Parents, Children, Step Children and Adopted Children.

My Soap Blends are a reflection of my care and concern for the many skin issues that people suffer from along with, I Love Beautiful, Luxurious and completely Natural Soap Blends. I love studying and creating specialty blends that are both beautiful and effective. I use a Vegan Soap Base Only which is enhanced with the use of various Oils including but not limited to Olive Oil, Castor Oil, Avocado Oil, Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Almond Oil, Coconut Oil, Vitamin E Oil, Marshmallow Root Oil, and in some blends Emu Oil and Local Honey which are non-vegan products along with quality Essential and Fragrance Oils. Herbs and Florals such as Lavender, Rosemary, Cilantro and Aloe Vera come directly from my garden. I grind my Oatmeal and make my own Vanilla Extract. I love using organic spices, teas and coffees such as Cinnamon, Turmeric, Herbal Teas and various Coffee blends. The gifts that our beautiful earth give to us are endless.

All of my soap blends are handcrafted in small specialized batches and hand wrapped with care. I hope you enjoy using my soaps as much as I love and enjoy making them!
